About Journal Writing
Creating Peace Within Through Journal Writing
Even if you are not new to keeping a journal, you will find creativity within continuing to write in your journal. For those who need an outlet from their thoughts and actions, but are unsure what it is, consider keeping a journal. Writing in a journal is an outlet for feelings. The more you write, the better you feel, and you will be more at peace within yourself. A journal is like a free therapist. Where else can you express your truest feelings and not have anyone judge you?
There are many reasons why people journal. There is perhaps nothing more personal and private than expressing your thoughts by writing them down. Whether you choose to share or not, your entries are yours and yours only.
The words are written from deep within, expressed in a unique way that only you can do. Writing in a journal can be an outlet to reflect on your life and your feelings without hurting anyone. It is a way to learn more about you, a tool used for wellness and growth.
I've been keeping journals since I was in high school. I find it a great creative outlet, as I can make my journal what I want, including photo collages, scrapbooking, writing, and clipping quotes, text and photographs.
