Remember Me
A Poem by Patricia L. Atchison
~ In memory of my Brother-In-Law, Bill Atchison, who died in Oaxaca, Mexico, 2/22/2010. He loved riding on his BMW motorcycle. ~
When you hear an engine's idle upon the wind,
You'll know I'm riding once again.
I'll send a breeze through the trees
to ruffle your hair and make you aware,
That I stand by you both day and night
keeping harm and pain from your sight.
Enjoy your day, it's the only way
to keep from missing me
I am in a better place right now,
it's surely meant to be.
Remember me and the good times we've shared.
I'll remember you and I'll wait
for the time when we meet again at heaven's gate.
